Overview
A tower that wins the room
The practice sent a tower concept straight from their modelling software. We repaired the mesh, thickened the diagrid members to survive handling and printed the lattice in a single tall build.
Finished in uniform matte white on a weighted display base, the model went from our box straight onto the competition table.
Challenge & Approach
Delicate struts, single piece
- Member thickening so hairline struts survive printing and transport.
- Single-piece tall build avoids glue lines across the lattice.
- Matte primer finish that reads as one material under jury lighting.
