Service (03) — Strong & Complex

SLS Nylon Printing

Selective Laser Sintering fuses nylon powder into tough, support-free parts. Complex geometries, interlocking assemblies and living hinges come out strong and ready to work.

What It Entails

Complexity without compromise

Because unsintered powder supports the part during printing, SLS handles internal channels, lattices and nested assemblies that other processes can't. The result is isotropic strength in every direction.

  • PA12 nylon and glass-filled nylon for extra stiffness and heat resistance.
  • Living hinges, snap-fits and threaded features printed ready to use.
  • Bead-blasted finish standard; dyeing in black, grey or colour on request.

Functional assemblies

Gears, linkages and enclosures that move, clip and fasten out of the box.

Lightweight lattices

Topology-optimised structures for drones, brackets and weight-critical parts.

Short-run production

Dozens to hundreds of identical nylon parts with injection-moulding-like toughness.

Capabilities

Nylon grades for demanding jobs

PA12

The all-rounder: strong, slightly flexible, excellent surface quality.

Glass-filled

Extra stiffness and thermal stability for housings and mounts.

Flexible TPU

Shore-A elasticity for gaskets, dampers and wearable parts.

Dyed finishes

Deep, even colour penetration in black, grey, navy and custom tones.

  2. 02Laser sintering.Controlled-atmosphere sintering for consistent density and mechanical properties.

FAQ

Nylon questions, answered

SLS needs no supports, so complex and nested geometries print cleanly, and nylon's isotropic strength beats layered FDM parts for functional loads.

A fine, matte, slightly grainy texture — bead-blasted smooth as standard. Dyeing gives rich, even colour throughout the part.

Yes — full build chambers spread machine cost across many parts, making 50–500 unit runs surprisingly affordable. Ask for volume pricing.
